Info

The Feather River in Northern California is a primary source of irrigation water for farmers in Southern California. Photographed here an hour north of the Sacramento Delta, where it's water merges with the Sacramento River, it is then pumped through the valley and over a mountain range in order to grow food in the sweltering California desert.
