Political Power - Thousands of farmers, farm workers, businessmen and other demonstrators participated in the final day of the March for Water in the San Joaquin Valley. The four day, 50 mile march began in Mendota, where drought has devastated the farming industry and led to nearly 40 percent documented unemployment. It culminated on April 17, 2009, with a rally at San Luis Reservoir.
