Isaac Rios is a Pomo Indian. The newly created Stornetta Public Lands are of ceremonial and ancestral importance to the Pomo people. Here, Isaac pushes his 8 month old son Lasha in a stroller onto the public lands to demonstrate the traditional way to harvest sage roots, used in basket making.
