N.Y.C. Snapshot
New York is a gluttany of stories rushing across a rich social tapestry, skipping past each other without a glance then occasionally colliding and combining in beautiful, terrible, fusion. Here is a cross section from my few days in America’s most energetic City.
- Wall Street, shortly after closing bell. June 16, 2010.
- Taking off hip-waders on the banks of Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, Brooklyn. Part of the 2010 Bio Blitz, a 24-hour effort to connect New Yorkers to the natural environment in their local area. June 11, 2010.
- Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights, Queens, as seen through the marbled window of the 74th Street L subway stop. June 19, 2010.
